I logged into my account on a whim. I forgot how to use this site. I thought I was on my page and started responding to comments; turned out it was someone else's. Closed window out of embarrassment. Can't remember who it was. Can't go back and delete comments.
I'm a 2nd year teacher now in Oakland (special ed.). Haven't written in a long time. Started a short story. Lost the notebook somewhere in my apartment, but I'm sure it'll turn up. I've been reading and writing more horror.

I haven't updated in a while because I've had no time. I'm not even writing anymore, really. Not that I don't want to. I REALLY want to. I just can't seem to squeeze it in anywhere.
I'm almost done with the last quarter of my first year. I've been a student teacher in a 5th grade classroom, a 1st grade classroom, and now a severely handicapped high school classroom. Instead of being there every day all day like last quarter or half a day every day the first one, I'm only there two days a week. Okay, so now I'm starting my teaching credential. I student-teach 8am-12am Mon.-Thurs., 8am-2:45pm Fridays, and I take classes from around 1:30pm to 8pm Mondays and Thursdays and around 2pm-4:30pm Wednesdays. I've got a ton of projects, case studies, and lesson plans due. I just don't have time to work on ANYTHING. That doesn't mean I'm not planning anything and I don't check this multiple times daily. (Because what else am I supposed to do with my time? Homework? Puh-lease.)
I probably won't get anything writing-related done until winter break or even summer.
Anyway, I'm just letting everyone know I'm still alive, and so is this account.
